Welcome to ARABit, the platform dedicated to professionals who wish to expand their networks of contacts and discover new business opportunities.
My name is Kinda Airoud, I was born on 24 December 1984 in Italy where I always lived until last year when together with my husband Stefano and my two children, Alessandro Amir 4 years and Adam 2, we decided to move to Dubai, for a mix of reasons, of life and work.
Although my studies and practical experiences in Italy were focused mainly on the pharmaceutical sector, considering that I’m graduated in pharmacy and specialized in cosmetics, along my career I have held different management roles in different fields as well.
At the same time, however, I have always cultivated a passion for the two cultures that inhabit me: the Italian and the Arab.
I have in fact Syrian origins from both parents and, together with my sisters, while living in Italy, we have always wanted to know the Arabic culture and language. My father has always urged me to do so, telling me, in times not suspicious, that surely sooner or later I would be useful in life!
I speak Arabic, Italian and English and I am honored to be able to pass on to my children a mix of cultures and traditions that make me a dynamic and enterprising woman today. I am not afraid of changes, they are an incentive for me to get involved and to live new experiences and this is what we teach, together with my husband, to our children.
Today I am in Dubai and I believe I can make available my professional, cultural and linguistic background, of the many Italian realities that already live in this country or are facing it.
I believe in fact that in every country the knowledge of the local culture and the language can play a fundamental role in the development of relations and business, and if this is true in most of the world, certainly in the Arab one even more.
